UPDATE 9/1/2020
Camp Horizon Bible Institute 2020-2021

Classes begin Monday 9/21/2029
There are ten 90 minute online sessions. (See Curriculum & Schedule)
Students can expect to spend three hours per week (per class) reading and doing assignments. (That is thirty minutes per day).

Students must have a computer or device with an adequate screen to read PowerPoint slides, a camera, and a microphone. Classes will use ZOOM for live classes and a shared google drive to receive documents and submit assignments.  Students must be able to open and read documents in PDF, DOCX, PPTX, and XLSX formats.  Acrobat Reader is free. If the student does not have MS Office software, they can read and edit those documents using the free Google Apps or Open Office.

Some classes require a book. New and used books are easy to find. Some books are available in digital format.

There is no charge for the classes. Students may contribute to an honorarium fund if they desire (and are able) to support their instructor.  There is no obligation to contribute.

How We Got Here

CHBI has graduated two classes (2018, 2019).  There were not enough applicants for the 2019-2020 year.

Registration is now open for Fall 2020.  If you are interested we ask that you enroll online (it costs nothing to complete the enrollment).  No charges are made until the fall term is confirmed and classes are added to your account.

UPDATE: We will be offering online interactive classes via ZOOM for the fall semester. There is no tuition. Cost for books or materials is relatively minimal. The instructors are meeting this week to determine the classes to be offered. We need at least six students per class. Please signup below. If you are a Camp Horizon camper or staff alumnus you should have a login already.

Originally, this was a one-year certificate program in General Bible Education on the campus of Camp Horizon in Leesburg, Florida. To complete the program in a year you would take five classes per semester. The most we plan to offer online is three. It will take two or three years to complete the fifteen course program online.

Application is open to all ages (including dual enrolled home education).  Classes are taught on a first-year college level. Enrollment is open to part-time students as well as full-time students.

The program is all online, live interactive. You must commit to attending weekly classes for ten weeks.

The application is the same one used for all camp horizon events.  New users, just create a new account.
